Joshua James - Chief Executive Officer

Josh first entered the decorative apparel industry in 2000 when he accepted a role as production manager at a small embroidery shop. He quickly realized a tremendous opportunity to improve with respect to consistently delivering superior customer service. To aid in developing the appropriate solutions, he accepted a position in a leadership development program at Lockheed Martin where he was able to learn and apply the theories of Lean and 6 Sigma to various functions within the company. Before leaving Lockheed, Josh worked in Sourcing, Finance, Quality, and in Production as Supervisor of antenna assembly for the Naval Aegis Phased Array. He then returned to the decorative apparel industry in 2005 and founded AJZ Embroidery & Printing to fill the gaps previously identified. Josh holds a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Governement, a Master in Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management, and participated in the NASA Scholars program at Florida A&M University where he received a BS in Industrial Engineering.
